Your Cobra-Grille was designed to install cleanly without turning a Saturday in the garage into an archaeological dig through the hardware drawer. Watch the videos first, use the measurements below as your starting point, test-fit everything before final tightening, and take your time getting the grille centered exactly where you want it.

Step by Step
Get the Position Right Before You Tighten Anything.
The mounting system gives you room for fine adjustment. That is intentional. Start with the reference measurements, get all four points cooperating, and only then make everything final.
Position the Mounting Blocks
Identify the Top (T) and Bottom (B) blocks. Using the radiator opening as your reference, begin with the bottom mounts at approximately 10 3/8 in. center-to-center and the top mounts at approximately 11 1/2 in. center-to-center.
Painter’s tape or a light removable mark makes it much easier to establish and compare your centers without making the front of the car look like a geometry homework assignment.
Secure the Blocks
Attach the mounting blocks with the provided screws. Tighten them firmly enough to hold position, but do not overtighten. GRP is strong, but excessive torque is unnecessary and can stress the material.
Test-Fit the Grille
Place the grille against the face of the blocks and identify the hole on each block that lines up with its floating nut. A block may need to move slightly left or right. That small adjustment is exactly what lets you dial in the final position instead of forcing the grille to accept an almost-right location.
Fine-Tune the Floating Nuts
Use a paperclip or thin pick to move each floating nut up or down until the holes align. Start the fastening screws by hand. If a screw does not want to thread smoothly, stop and realign it rather than persuading it with more torque.
Center It, Check It, Then Make It Final
Once all four screws are aligned, step back and confirm that the grille is centered, flush and sitting exactly where you want it. Tighten the four screws evenly, then apply medium-strength threadlocker to help prevent vibration from loosening the fasteners.

Installation FAQ
Before You Reach for a Bigger Wrench.
Most installation questions come down to alignment. The system is designed to give you a little room to get the grille exactly where it belongs.
Which blocks go on top and which go on the bottom?
The four standard GRP blocks are marked for position: two are marked T for top and two are marked B for bottom.
What are the starting measurements?
Begin at approximately 10 3/8 inches center-to-center for the bottom mounts and 11 1/2 inches center-to-center for the top mounts. Treat those as positioning references and test-fit the grille before final tightening.
Why does the nut move inside the mounting block?
It is a floating nut, and that movement is useful. It gives you vertical adjustment so the grille fastener can align cleanly instead of requiring every mounting point to be positioned with zero tolerance.
What if the holes do not line up immediately?
Do not force the screw. Move the block slightly left or right as needed, then use a paperclip or thin pick to move the floating nut up or down. Start each screw by hand once the holes align.
How tight should the GRP mounting blocks be?
Secure them firmly, but avoid excessive torque. The GRP blocks are strong, but overtightening is unnecessary and can stress the material.
Should I use threadlocker?
The existing Cobra-Grille instructions recommend medium-strength threadlocker on the final fastening screws to help keep vibration from loosening them.
