Why Fitment Matters

Factory Five owners tend to notice details. The grille occupies one of the most visible openings on the entire car, so application, proportion, finish and mounting all matter. The goal is not simply to put mesh in front of the radiator. It is to make the front of the car look finished.
Opening Geometry
The front opening determines the grille’s overall proportions. We start with the intended application instead of scaling a generic mesh panel until it is close enough.
Mounting Location
The grille has to sit where it belongs in relation to the body and radiator opening. Mounting method and available attachment areas matter as much as the outer shape.
The Finished Look
On a car built around exposed mechanical detail, polished metal and intentional proportions, the grille should look like part of the build rather than something added at the end.

No. Cobra-Grille.com currently offers separate applications for Factory Five MKIII, MKIV and MKV Roadsters. Select the generation you own in the live Grille Kit configurator, and contact us first if the front opening has been modified.

Can I use the grille on a modified Factory Five nose?
Possibly, but do not assume standard fitment. Previous bodywork, custom fabrication or changes to the nose can alter the opening and mounting locations. Contact us before ordering.
What finishes are available for Factory Five Cobra grilles?
Depending on the selected product configuration, available finishes can include black powder-coated aluminum and raw aluminum. Check the live product selector for current choices.
Are mounting blocks included?
Compatible grille configurations include the standard mounting solution where applicable. Aluminum mounting blocks are available as an upgrade on supported configurations.
Do I need the aluminum mounting-block upgrade?
No. The standard mounts are the normal mounting solution. The CNC-machined aluminum blocks are a premium upgrade for owners who want stronger and more durable hardware.
Should I buy the aluminum blocks separately with a grille?
No. If the grille configurator offers aluminum mounts for your application, choose them with the grille. The standalone aluminum-mount listing is better suited to separate or replacement purchases.
Does the grille block radiator airflow?
The grille design is intended to balance radiator protection, appearance and airflow. Actual cooling performance depends on the complete vehicle, including radiator, shrouding, fans, engine configuration and driving conditions.

Can you verify my fitment before I order?
