About Cobra-Grille.com
It Started With a Cobra and the Thought, “I Can Make That Better.”
Cobra-Grille.com is a family-owned American business built around a very specific obsession: making the front of a Cobra look finished while protecting what sits behind it. The idea grew from years around machining, fabrication and cars, then became a product because a Cobra owner looked at his own car and knew there had to be a better way.
The Story
Built by a Car Guy Who Also Happens to Know His Way Around a Machine Shop.
Long before Cobra-Grille.com, there were more than 15 years of machining and fabrication experience, along with a lifetime of tinkering with cars and the kind of mechanical curiosity that makes perfectly functional things difficult to leave alone. In 2020, that experience collided with Cobra ownership and a problem that needed a better solution.
Like a lot of Cobra owners, the more time spent looking at the car, the more obvious the details became. The front opening is huge. It is visually important, and it leaves the radiator exposed. A grille needed to protect the car without looking like an accessory somebody remembered at the end.
So the solution was designed, refined, fabricated and tested around the car itself. What started as solving one owner’s problem became Cobra-Grille.com.

How We Think
These Cars Deserve Better Than “Close Enough.”
A Cobra is not a generic car, and the front opening is not a generic rectangle. Fitment, proportions, mounting, finish and the way the grille sits in the opening all matter. That is why the product line is organized around specific Cobra applications rather than pretending one piece should somehow fit everything.
Fit First
A grille can be beautifully made and still be wrong for the car. Application-specific fitment comes before finish, style or anything else.
Make the Hidden Parts Matter
The mounting system is part of the product, even when nobody sees it at a cars and coffee. Standard GRP mounts work well, and CNC-machined aluminum mounts are available for owners who want more.

If you have a fitment question, a modified nose or something unusual, ask. The point is to get the right grille on the car, not simply get another box out the door.
The Details Behind the Grille
Half the Fun Is Engineering the Part Nobody Notices.
The grille gets the attention. The mounting system is where a lot of the thinking lives. Every compatible grille kit includes durable glass reinforced plastic mounting blocks as standard. They do the job well.
For the owner who wants machined metal behind the grille simply because that is the kind of owner they are, we also make optional CNC-machined aluminum mounting blocks. They are not an admission that the standard mounts are inadequate. They are the upgrade you make because details matter, even when you have to crouch down to see them.

Small Enough to Care About the Weird Question.
Cobra-Grille.com is a family-owned American company. That matters less as a slogan than it does when you actually need help. Cobra replicas vary. Cars get modified. Openings are not always exactly what a model name suggests. Sometimes the useful answer is not “click Add to Cart.” Sometimes it is “send us a photo and a couple of measurements.”
That is the kind of business we want this to be: knowledgeable enough to make a precise product, small enough to care whether it is the right product for your car, and enthusiastic enough about Cobras to understand why a seemingly tiny detail can bother you every single time you walk into the garage.
What Hasn’t Changed
Protect the Radiator. Finish the Nose. Make It Look Right.
The mission is simple: combine function and appearance. The grille should provide a useful barrier against road debris, but it also has to belong on the car. Those two jobs are not competing priorities. Done properly, they are the same product.
That remains the standard whether you choose chrome, black anodized or raw aluminum, standard GRP mounts or the machined aluminum upgrade.
What Cobra Owners Say
The Best Part Is Hearing From People Who Put One on Their Car.
We can talk about fit, finish, packaging and support all day. It means more when the person saying it is the one who opened the box, installed the grille and then stood back to look at the car.
